California Personal Injury Lawyers Support the 2014 Bay Area CureSearch Walk

by Staff Blogger | November 10th, 2014

Giving back to the community we serve is important to each and every employee at Berg Injury Lawyers and one of the issues that is affecting our neighbors is pediatric cancer. Estimates show as many as 175,000 children per year are diagnosed with cancer, making the disease one of the leading causes of death in children here in the United States. Our team of California personal injury lawyers is helping to find a cure for childhood cancer by sponsoring a team in a recent fundraising event. The event took place this past Saturday, November 8, at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Team Super Audrey was just one of the groups to participate in Saturday’s 2014 Bay Area CureSearch Walk. Each team was responsible for collecting donations that will be used to fund research for a cure for childhood cancers. We are proud to announce that Team Super Audrey—named for a very special little girl who is sick—successfully raised $2,840 for the cause. Even though the event is over, there’s still a way for you to get involved with finding a cure for childhood cancers. You can donate now by visiting Team Super Audrey’s page on the CureSearch Walk website. You can volunteer for the group at an upcoming event as well if you wish to be a little more hands on with your support. At Berg Injury Lawyers, we would like to thank everyone who supported and continues to support the mission of finding a cure for cancer. You can also stay up to date on other ways we are giving back to the community by taking a look at our website.
