Busy Personal Injury Law Firm seeks a Receptionist for our Pre-Litigation Department in our Modesto Office.

This full-time position requires excellent communication and customer service, organizational skills, time management, ability to handle multiple phone lines, and a confident and positive attitude. The right candidate must be able to handle multiple office tasks as necessary, be skilled in WordPerfect and Microsoft Word, and type at least 40+ wpm. Bilingual a plus.

This fast-paced position requires experience in auto claims, negotiations, and lien resolution. Field Representative (Alameda)


Busy Personal Injury law firm is looking for a Field Representative/Investigator.

This is a remote, part-time/as needed position that requires traveling and meeting with clients to gather case information, documents, and evidence. Training will be provided.

The ideal candidate must be professional with a positive attitude, dress professionally, and have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance for their vehicle. Bilingual candidates and candidates with private investigation or law enforcement experience are encouraged to apply.

Job description:

Plaintiff’s personal injury firm seeks an attorney to handle personal injury cases in our Alameda office. We are looking for someone who has strong people skills, is very organized and detail oriented, is a self-starter, is able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. This position does not involve litigation work.

Qualifications:

Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

Understanding of Tort/PI law.

Must have 1+ years of personal injury experience.

Bilingual Spanish a PLUS!

In addition to salary, there are opportunities to make bonuses, including the ability to earn 1/3 of the attorney fee when cases settle from clients that you have personally referred to the firm.

What will you be doing?

After a comprehensive training program, under the direction of the Managing Attorney, you will be:

Working with a team of case managers answering their questions, making sure clients are getting the medical treatment they need, making sure all avenues of insurance and recovery are explored, and making sure cases are moving towards the demand phase.

Communicating with clients at least every 30-90 days.

Reviewing cases to determine the case value, identifying all potential defendants, determining if there is evidence that needs to be preserved and if any experts and/or investigators should be hired.

Determining the general strategy of the case depending on the facts.

Reviewing and revising demand packages which would include reviewing and summarizing medical records and other documents.

Reviewing and revising drafts of complaints, public entity claim forms, case management conference statements, minors’ compromise petitions, and other documents.

Attend court hearings including case management conferences and minors’ compromise hearings.

Some supervision of team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 or higher depending on years of experience.
