One killed in Modesto truck accident

The Sacramento Bee reports that one man was killed and five people were injured in a Modesto truck accident.

The Modesto truck accident occurred when traffic slowed on Highway 99 and a truck failed to slow down. The truck struck a Nissan Frontier causing a chain reaction that involved four other vehicles.

The driver of the Nissan was killed in the Modesto truck accident. A passenger had to be rescued from the vehicle by emergency crews. Four other people in various vehicles suffered minor injuries.
