- Gravel—Roads that have fallen into disrepair may become gravel-filled, while other roads may be partially or fully gravel by default. Gravel is dangerous for motorcyclists, as it doesn’t generate as much traction for tires as asphalt or concrete. Be cautious when turning on gravel surfaces, as it’s easy to lose control.
