Each year, an estimated 13,400 American children are diagnosed with some sort of cancer. Another 2,500 lose their battle with the disease, making it one of the most common causes of death among children and adolescents in the United States today. As a nation, we are fighting back against the disease by raising awareness of cancer’s risks as well as funds to provide further research into curing the disease. At Berg Injury Lawyers, our team of California personal injury attorneys is doing our part for this cause by sponsoring a cancer fundraising campaign. The 2014 Bay Area CureSearch Walk will take place beginning at 9 A.M. on November 8 at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Participants will register and pick up information prior to taking a moment to remember those who have lost their battle with cancer. Then those who are taking part will begin the walk to raise money for the cause. The event’s goal is to raise $30,000, and so far, almost $4,000 has been raised. That’s why here at Berg Injury Lawyers, we’re asking our friends, family, clients, and members of the community to do their part to battle childhood cancer by either donating to the cause or registering to participate  in the event. Helping fund cancer research is just one way our team gives back to the neighborhoods we serve. Take a look at our website to see some of the other ways we have participated in California community service events.
