Woman killed in Sacramento auto accident

A 66-year-old woman was killed in a Sacramento auto accident, according to the Sacramento Bee. The Sacramento auto accident occurred Wednesday on Sierra College Blvd.

The victim was driving a Buick that collided head on with a Ford Explorer. The driver of the Explorer was taken to the hospital and listed in critical condition following the Sacramento car accident.

The California Highway Patrol report that it is unclear how the two vehicles ended up in a head on crash in the south bound lane. The road was closed for three hours following the California auto accident.

Police are looking for witnesses who may have information regarding the Sacramento auto accident.
