The Modesto Bee reports that a woman was killed in a hit-and-run Modesto car accident.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 31-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle on South Central Avenue in the Modesto car accident. Authorities say the woman walked out in front of the vehicle.
The male driver said he did not know he hit someone in the Modesto car accident and kept driving. He was tracked down a short time later and returned to the scene of the Modesto car accident. He was determined not to be under the influence.
