The San Francisco Gate reports that several people were injured in a San Francisco auto accident Tuesday afternoon. The San Francisco auto accident involved a street car, a bus, and a private vehicle.
Around 4:40 p.m. the street car struck a bus which was traveling westbound on Market Street, the bus then rear-ended a car.
Five people were transported to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries following the San Francisco auto accident. Seven other people were treated and released at the scene. The accident is under investigation, but preliminary results indicate that faulty brakes on the street car may be to blame.
Could this accident have been a result of operator error? Or maybe poor maintenance standards are to blame.
