Pedestrian struck in San Francisco auto accident

The San Francisco Appeal reports that a woman was injured when she was struck by a vehicle in a San Francisco auto accident. The accident happened on Mission Street around 7:50am.

The 52-year-old pedestrian was jaywalking when she was struck by a Volkswagen sedan. The victim was unconscious following the San Francisco car accident and was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.

The driver stopped to help the woman, and was cooperating with police as they conducted an investigation of the California auto accident—he was not cited for the accident.
