One man died Saturday after a Fresno auto accident, according to the Sacramento Bee.
The California auto accident occurred on a long, windy stretch of Interstate 80 about 14 miles west of Blue Canyon. The driver told police he was traveling about 55 miles per hour when he lost control of the vehicle, ran off the road, and hit a tree, causing the single vehicle accident.
The driver and passengers involved in the Fresno auto accident were taken to a nearby hospital, where the passenger, who was riding in the front seat, later died.
I-80 Westbound was closed for about 45 minutes as a result of the Fresno car accident.
