The Modesto Bee reports that several people were injured in a Fresno auto accident when a pickup truck driver blacked out while she was driving.
According to police, the driver told investigators that she passed out behind the wheel and the vehicle accelerated. The woman struck another vehicle with three people inside and struck a pedestrian pushing a stroller. The adult and child were dragged 20 feet into a school parking lot. The man was pinned underneath the truck until firefighters could free him.
The man and child were transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries following the Fresno auto accident.
Do you think the driver should be held responsible for passing out and causing the Fresno auto accident? If it was due to a medical condition, do you think her license should be revoked?
